In the future, when the Content Wars have died down and human brains have begun to accept computer chip implants without horrifying side effects, people will tell their grandchildren about a funny website named Clickhole that once satirized a multi-million-dollar cat-GIF-and-investigative-journalism company named BuzzFeed. One fateful December day, when Twitter was running low on content and lower on jokes, BuzzFeed decided to throw money at Clickhole writers until one of them agreed to save us from a content drought.
