CNN head Jeff Zucker sent out the following note this afternoon, letting staff know that longtime anchor Candy Crowley has decided to “move on” from the network “so she can embark on the next chapter of her already prolific career.”
Crowley has worked at CNN since 1987, most recently as chief political correspondent and host of the show State of the Union With Candy Crowley.
