President Obama Expected to Survive Bout of Heartburn

Obama went in for a CT scan at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Saturday after his physician noticed some “soft tissue swelling” in his throat, which has been sore lately. Doctors have determined that Obama is suffering from acid reflux — a.k.a. heartburn — which they have vowed to “treat accordingly,” perhaps with some Tums, or by recommending a reduction in the president’s coffee intake.
