Russian President Vladimir Putin has invited North Korea’s young dictator to Moscow to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Soviet Union’s WWII defeat of Germany. Foreign Minister Sergey V. Lavrov told reporters that the North Korean government’s “first signal was positive,” which apparently means that Kim is considering it. Kim hasn’t gone on an international trip since taking over for his father in 2011, but a little Cold War reunion seems like a good place to start.
