Paris’s iconic Arc de Triomphe was emblazoned with the message “Paris est Charlie” around 7 p.m. local time on Friday, a move that represents the city’s widespread support and mourning of the 8 Charlie Hebdo staffers killed by terrorists on Wednesday. The display is expected to remain illuminated through Saturday night.
