Passengers on an Etihad Airways flight were stuck waiting on the tarmac in Abu Dhabi for 12 hours on Saturday due to “unprecedented fog” that delayed air traffic. Add those 12 hours to the 16 and a half hours it takes to fly from Abu Dhabi to San Francisco, and you have some very hungry and pissed-off passengers forced to stay on a plane for over 28 hours. “Everybody was fighting with each other, and the flight attendants were fighting with us, and we were fighting with the flight attendants,” one passenger said. Just another day flying the friendly skies!
