Some New York commuters are experiencing train delays today, owing to a massive fire at Penn Station around 2:30 a.m. this morning. The mysterious blaze at a nearby construction site required the efforts of more than 150 firefighters over three hours to be put out, but the questions may not be over yet. “The fire is suspicious,” FDNY fire chief James Leonard said. “We do have our fire marshals on the scene.” A, C, and E trains bypassed the site for most of the early morning hours and were experiencing delays even after service was restored. Plan accordingly.
