Creepy Clown Stolen From Kansas Amusement Park Found 10 Years Later Exactly Where You’d Expect

Louie the Joyland Clown.

The fate of “Louie the Joyland Clown,” the mascot of a Kansas amusement park who was stolen back in 2005, has turned out to be just as creepy as the clown itself: On Tuesday, police found Louie at the home of a registered sex offender, officially making this story way scarier than the plot of any Chuckie film.

Louie was located by police at the Wichita home of 39-year-old Damian Mayes, who’s currently in prison for child sex crimes. As Mayes was previously employed by the Joyland Amusement Park, police believe he stole Louie over a decade ago and has kept him in his home ever since.

Unfortunately, instead of sending the clown straight back to the depths of hell where it belongs, Louie will be returned to his rightful owner, no doubt to scare the crap out of children for years to come.

Be sure to watch the video above, if only for the insanely creepy moment at 2:30 where the police wheel the clown out of the press conference in an office chair, as if he’s a human who might spring to life at any moment.
