Reports surfaced in early March that the New York Daily News is seeking a potential new buyer, and that that buyer might be Cablevision CEO Jimmy Dolan. Now Reuters reports that Dolan is preparing to make an offer on the tabloid for a measly $1. A source told Reuters that the bid takes into account the paper’s profit-losing streak, though we have a feeling it might also have something to do with the Dolan-Zuckerman beef.
