The Daily News May Have a New Bidder

Add News Communications CEO Jimmy Finkelstein to the list of potential Daily News suitors. The New York Post reports that Finkelstein, who sold his shares in The Hollywood Reporter, Adweek, and Billboard in 2013, is considering bidding on the Daily News. If he does bid and win, the paper would be only the second media property Finkelstein owns; the other is Washington-based political newspaper The Hill.
