A woman was fatally struck by the subway on Monday morning when she fell while attempting to move between cars, confirming another one of your worst New York fears. The unnamed 54-year-old woman was on an elevated part of the 1 train in Inwood when she fell near the 207th street stop. Though it’s technically illegal to move between subway cars, people do it all the time; unfortunately, that doesn’t make it any safer.
