After repeatedly stealing money from coin-operated machines, British resident Russell Stansfield has been legally banned from using them. This includes parking meters, pay phones, and — most tragically — vending machines. Stansfield will be forced to retrieve his stale potato chips from someplace else, like a sketchy mini-mart.
