Jacob, a horse with a prestigious job at the St. Petersburg police department, has recently picked up a creative new hobby. Bay News 9 reports that Jacob is “trying his hoof” at painting, an activity that his handler hopes will boost his confidence when it comes to performing his police duties. “I had to create a special horse-proof paint brush to get him used to holding that and waving it around,” Officer Jason Hughes told Bay News 9. Jacob’s paintings are so good, they may soon be displayed in a museum alongside works created by humans.
