Almost two months after the World Health Organization declared Liberia Ebola-free, the country has confirmed its first new case of the disease. A 17-year-old male victim tested positive in a rural area outside the capital of Monrovia. More than 11,200 people have died from Ebola in Liberia since the outbreak began last year, and neighboring Sierra Leone and Guinea still have active cases, though, in recent weeks, the number of new infections has fallen close to single digits.
