In light of the recent controversy surrounding the United States’ (arguably) most absurd presidential candidate, the Federal Aviation Administration has decided to rename three flight navigation points named after Donald Trump. (The points — “DONLD,” “TRMMP,” and “UFIRD” — are located above the airport in Palm Beach, Florida, where Trump owns a home and some businesses.) “In general, the F.A.A. chooses names that are noncontroversial,” an agency spokesperson explained to the New York Times. Let’s hope the FCC follows their lead.
