If you’re not a superhero or a professional wrestler, it’s hard to get your own theme song. But presidential candidate/national nightmare Donald Trump is no ordinary man. A few days ago, the world was introduced to a true musical wonder: a song about Trump, loosely resembling George M. Cohan’s “Over There,” sung by a group of chilling youngsters. Once we heard it, we knew we had to take it to the next level and imagine it as the theme not just for Trump’s campaign, but for a prime-time drama about the Trump presidency, in the vein of his former employer NBC’s The West Wing.
