Second Avenue Subway Is Behind Schedule, Again

While we were deep in an L train freak-out Monday, another tiny bit of bad-but-perhaps-not-so-surprising news filtered out of the MTA board meeting: The Second Avenue subway contractors are behind on installation and critical tests that are putting at “significant risk” the new subway line’s December 2016 opening.
