Donald Trump’s name-calling reached a new low on Monday night. Literally. While speaking to a rally in Mechanicsburg, the Republican nominee for president said Hillary Clinton is “the devil.”

The comment came while Trump was rambling on about the “bad deal” Bernie Sanders made in endorsing Clinton: “His people are angry at him, and they should be. If he would have just not done anything. Just go home. Go to sleep, relax. He would have been a hero. But he made a deal with the devil. She’s the devil. He made a deal with the devil.”

And then, as the crowd’s cheers drowned him out, Trump added, “It’s true,” just in case supporters thought he was speaking figuratively about Clinton ruling the fiery underworld.
