The lowdown
The owners of Capone’s and Alligator Lounge, Williamsburg’s bastions of free pizza, brought the brick-oven business model to Manhattan, a bar with with lacquered beige-green tiles and some crocodiles throughout (from the door handle to the ceiling), plus Skee-Ball and a pizza oven doling out free six-slice personal pies to anyone who orders a drink. Have your birthday there in a group over ten people and you drink beer and well drinks for free (reservations required). Beyond a confessional-style make-out spot at rear is a door opening onto a patio, a rarity on 14th Street.
