Profile
Alessandro Mangerini’s spacious salon exudes both uptown elegance and a little bit of Zen. The longtime stylist, who got his start in Paris and previously worked at Pierre Michel, took over the space, which was previously a showroom for Giorgio Armani, in late 2011. The salon is decked out with blond hardwood floors and matching walls, plus three-dimensional hexagon-shaped mirrors and plush, brown leather chairs. Technically speaking, Mangerini takes the utmost care in making sure his cuts are precise, even having clients stand while he chops to ensure that the hair properly frames not only the face, but his client’s figure, too. His team of ten utilizes high-end products including Caritas, Davines, and Leonor Greyl, and specialize in balayage highlighting. A private VIP room and an outside terrace round out the luxe offerings.
