Although Upper East Siders mourn the loss of SkinKlinic (a forerunner for injectable beauty treatments), another similarly focused spa has taken its place: Boston-based SLEEK Medspa, which opened its New York flagship in 2006. The stark white space looks more medical office than luxury spa, but don't let that fool you: Celebs such as Ivanka Trump and Cynthia Nixon have frequented the four treatment rooms to smooth out wrinkles or eliminate age spots, often with lunchtime-length procedures using the latest high-tech machines. The procedures—Botox injections, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, photofacials, and laser hair removal—are promoted as noninvasive and performed by nurse practitioners and physicians' assistants as well as aestheticians. The in-house holistic skin-care line, MedSpa Solutions, is used throughout alongside products from La Roche and SkinKlinic. Although the spa isn't necessarily geared toward a relaxing experience, clients wait comfortably on brown couches beforehand while happy pop music blares from the stereo.

Promotions run monthly. For Valentine's Day, SLEEK offered Restylane injections for kissable pouts.
