Trippy sneaker-art installations are cool and all, but we’re checking out Sneaker Pimps, the “word’s largest touring sneaker lifestyle show,” for the tunes. Forget obscure D.J. “pioneers,” this is old school done the right way—full sets from hard-as-hell New York duo EPMD, the cheeky Brit storyteller Slick Rick, and the sorely underrated DJ Premiere cohort Jeru the Damaja. Oh, and we nearly forgot headliner and hip-hop eulogizer Nas, sure to contradict himself with every breath he takes. — Amos Barshad
