The lowdown

Until New York has a Wegmans, it has Daddy-O. Take I-490 east far enough and you’ll end up at this unassuming corner pub. To answer your first question, yes, they have a Garbage Plate — that heap of macaroni salad, home fries, and either burgers or Zweigle’s hot dogs (red or white), all drenched in spicy, meaty sauce. It’s a Kodak moment that would make George Eastman himself happy. To answer your second question, yes, they also have Genny Cream Ale. But on top of that, they’re a rare late-night oasis of that ideal drunk snack: tater tots served with a spicy ketchup. But wait! There’s more! Try washing down its nationally celebrated burger with any of its 500 whiskeys, including bottles as rare as a Bills Super Bowl appearance.
