Known For

The lowdown

What began as a quirky, Baja-influenced taqueria located in a gigantic garage has been transformed into a popular chain of restaurants that are now regionally agnostic. Guests are encouraged to use a checklist to put in their orders, which the kitchen tends to turn around relatively quickly since the menu was pared down from tamales and cochinita pibil to focus almost exclusively in tacos. Your best bets: The fish and barbacoa tacos sandwiched between freshly made tortillas and the avocado tostada with refried beans, pickled cabbage, and queso fresco.
