Profile

This men’s shop carries a wide assortment of items catered towards customers who favor a more traditional look. Brothers Emil and Sandy Corsillo started their online store in 2009 after Sandy left his job in finance, and then they opened this brick-and-mortar space on the second floor of a Williamsburg building in 2011. Spacious and neatly laid out, the wares are showcased on metal shelving, and shirts, backpacks, and rucksacks hang from hooks on the walls. The shop sells simple, sturdy items that, if not for the slim fit, wouldn't look out of place in the forties. Think wool hats and jean jackets, T-shirts, outdoors-y parkas, canvas rucksacks, and footwear that ranges from tennis shoes to leather boots. The space has the feel of a general store and, in keeping with that, also stocks an assortment of other playful “men's” stuff, like suede footballs, Slinkys, and cheap model airplanes.
