Profile

This venue is closed.

This spacious boutique stocks home accents and gifts from an array of Greenpoint designers and artists. Exposed-brick walls, whitewashed floors, and floral accents give the space an open, calming atmosphere, free of cluttered racks or overflowing bins. Owner Carolyn Veith Krienke holds regular open calls for local designers, hand-picking her stock with an artistic eye. The wares are displayed within various cubes of a tall blond-wood shelf, including Llubav’s felt-flower hairpieces, stationery from Screech Owl Design, polished wooden earrings by Orno, handmade plush toys, and quilted denim pillows by Julie Floersch. White shelves along the opposite wall supply hostess gifts or pretty accents for entertaining, from screen-printed wine glasses and ceramic candleholders to Mast Brothers chocolate and Tay Tea’s “Better Than Sex” blend (rooibos with bits of Belgian dark chocolate and peppermint). Veith Krienke fosters a community environment, planning regular bake sales and art openings—prints from previous exhibitions are available for purchase.
