This splashy boutique is Moschino’s first New York outpost since the closing of their Madison Avenue store in 2002, and it houses the brand’s namesake label as well as the lower-priced Cheap & Chic line; casual, mass-market Love Moschino line; and men’s Moschino Uomo collection. Opened in August 2008, the store is as bright and playful as the label’s whimsical apparel. The white, glossy space is adorned with dioramas of illuminated hearts — the brand’s signature motif. Dresses in shades of crimson and sapphire sport vibrant, oversized graphics and bold lamé prints, and smart separates walk the line between classic and sexy. Lucite shelves display striking accessories, including jeweled charm bracelets, buckled handbags, metallic clutches, and standout footwear. — Genevieve Leon
