About 80 percent of the items for sale here are European, with an emphasis on fashions such as Boudicca from London and Bless and Maison Martin Margiela from Paris. Also in stock are two New York–based designers, A Detacher and Sunshine & Shadow. Customers come back again and again for Schiesser underwear, made from the thinnest pima cotton, and art nerds love the German Kaweco fountain pens. But perhaps most intriguing are the vintage finds, such as never-worn fifties Romika tennis sneakers discovered in the attic of a West Berlin tennis center; an Alex Moulton bicycle; and the store exclusives, such as delicate gold rings that would make perfect wedding bands for design freaks. — Chrissy Persico
