Profile
This bridal boutique is geared toward the hip bride seeking a chic, alternative, low-key look for her wedding. The shop was largely inspired by co-founder Molly Guy’s unsuccessful quest to find the perfect wedding dress in New York. Custom veils and wedding dresses abound, all of them designed exclusively by designers such as Mandy Coon, Daryl K, and Pam Love. Although they only carry dresses in the traditional white, brides can customize their gowns with vivid-colored dyes post-wedding. Custom flower crowns, headpieces and veils are made in-house using vintage lace, crystals, air plants, raw gems, and beads. Jewelry options include delicate rings and bracelets, many designed by Guy herself. (Sapphires and emeralds are stones of choice). When the soon-to-be-bride is ready, she can try her picks on in a Bedouin tent-styled dressing area. Stone Fox Bride also offers a concierge service for its clients, arranging appointments with a handful of people including healers, stylists, nutritionists, sex therapists, and financial counselors—basically anyone to make the days leading up to the event as smooth as possible.
