Dave & Buster’s
234 W. 42nd St., nr. Broadway; 646-495-2015
The Comic Con pre-party took place at the Times Square outlet of the “Chuck E. Cheese for grownups” chain on Thursday, but Dave & Buster’s is the Official NYCC Bar all weekend long. Make it your meet-up destination in case any members of your group get lost in the big blue eyes of Fringe’s Joshua Jackson.

Adult Swim Presents Andrew W.K.
Fri., 6:30pm, at Santos’ Party House, 100 Lafayette St., nr. Walker St.; 212-584-5492
Arguably the premier post-Con event features mad-man-about-town Andrew W.K. throwing down (for free!) at his very own club. What’s the Adult Swim connection? The channel will air W.K.’s upcoming as-of-yet-untitled quasi–talk show; also, both host Jon Glazer (Delocated) and Christy Karacas of opening act Cheesburger (Superjail!) have shows on the eccentric programming block.

A Spectacular Night of Thunderous Revelry
Fri., 7:30pm, at Concrete, 320 W. 37th St., nr. Eighth Ave.; 212-967-9121
Creative agencies Thunderdog Studios and Interspectacular team up for a party featuring the heavy sounds of D.J. Mark Salinger. Thunderdog will also be unleashing a new product from their designer toy line, which will be offered up first-come, first-served.

The NYCC Party
Sat., 7pm, at Stitch, 247 W. 37th St., nr. Eighth Ave.; 212-852-4826
Brought to you by the dudes behind comic site iFanboy, “internet culture” site ROFLCon, gamer site 1UP, and graphic-novel anthology Popgun, this ambitious party will offer up a whole slew of industry networking. Also on hand will be artists and writers from Marvel and RANT Comics, the creators of online strips Evil Inc. and PvP, and Around Comics host Tom Katers (to name a few; full list here).

The Indy After Party 2009
Sat., 8pm, at Blaggard’s, 8 W. 38th St., nr. Fifth Ave.; 212-382-2611
Comic artists of the world, unite! The Comic Artists Guild throws down with artwork on display, giveaways, the announcement of the CAG Award winners, and a very special performance by the lead singer of Tool tribute band Toolfist.
