The only thing exclusive about this extravaganza is the spirits—no other alcohols allowed. Tickets are $135 for Scotch Malt Whisky Society Members, $150 for nonmembers, and include a buffet.

Pick the brains of distillers at New York Distilling Co and Tuthilltown as well as professional bakers at this meet-up cohosted by Greenmarket. Taste the loaves and wash it down with whiskey cocktails all made from local grains. Tickets cost $15, but you can get in free if you bake your own loaf—as long as it’s made from local flour . But we didn’t knead to tell you that.
A Night of the Balvenie

Call it an adult version of hop-Scotch. Nicholas Pollacchi of the Balvenie distillery will lead a Scotch-tasting journey with a 12-year double wood, a 14-year Caribbean Cask and more, plus some paired hors d’oeurves like the traditional Scotch Club’s jamon. Tickets are $100.
Whiskey & Cheese Pairing
