By 6 p.m., the skylighted communal tables are packed with off-duty office workers hefting colossal mugs of lagers, wheat beers, and bocks, all delivered by waitresses in dirndls. To fortify your stomach while emptying two-liter glass boots, there’s fresh-baked pretzels, platters of wurst and sauerkraut, and, of course, Wiener schnitzel.
