Descend the stairs behind the hostess stand to find a warren of red leather banquettes and murals of gamboling horses. Ponder these as you sip a 60 Seconds Over Buenos Aires (cold-brewed iced coffee with Fernet Branca, Mexican Coke, and Stoli; $14) and nibble on delectable tostadas de esquites ($8) topped with sweet corn mash and threads of habanero pepper—or don’t, if you’d rather scan the room.
