Amy Saltzman

Family Law


Amy Saltzman practices all aspects of family and matrimonial law matters. From negotiation and drafting of prenuptial, marital and separation agreements to litigation in divorce, post judgment matters and those involving non-married parents. Amy brings with her a great depth of training and experience.

Before entering private practice, Amy worked on behalf of domestic abuse victims as a supervisor in Westchester/Putnam Legal Services and was the founding attorney of the legal project of the Rockland Family Shelter. Amy was an associate at Cohen Goldstein & Silpe LLP before starting her own firm in 2003. Amy received her Juris Doctor from City University of New York School of Law and also a Master of Science Degree in Special Education from Hunter College.

She is currently an officer of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York, a member of the board of directors of the New York Women’s Bar Association and serves on the Legal Advisory Council of Sanctuary for Families and State Courts of Superior Jurisdiction Committee of the New York City Bar Association.
