Exclusive: Streisand Gets an Offer She Can’t Refuse

It looks like Barbra Streisand has accepted yet another offer for her apartment in the Ardsley on Central Park West. A source close to the deal tells us that Streisand has agreed to sell the place for about $4 million. She moved in 30 years ago. In 1998 she put the 8,000-square-foot triplex penthouse on the market for $10 million. But for four years, the co-op’s persnickety board members repeatedly rejected all comers, including, in 1999, Mariah Carey, who offered $8 million. Since then, Streisand has managed to unload the lower floor of the pad. Streisand’s broker, Carrie Chiang, confirmed an offer was recently accepted after a bidding war between two parties but declined to give any details: “All I can say is that Barbra is very happy.”
