Despite my addiction to The Graduate, I’m not a retro-cool kind of girl. I can’t name all the Rat Pack guys, shopping in thrift stores makes me sneeze, and I’ve never seen Some Like It Hot. So how do I explain my obsession with Penguin’s Earl Polo, first hot in the ‘50s? Maybe it’s the fabric, a tightly woven knit that falls just right. Maybe it’s the long, snug shape that makes my guy friends look so built. Or maybe it’s the penguin on the pocket, which is way more fun than a crocodile. Whatever the reason, I love it—and since it’s on sale right now, everyone can too.
