Dash Angostura bitters
3/4 ounce sweet vermouth (preferably Stock)
2 1/2 ounces rye whisky (preferably Old Overholt)
Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker in the
order in which they are listed. Fill with ice, and
stir (do not shake, or the drink will turn cloudy).
Strain into a martini or Manhattan glass.
