With all the eco-fads out there, we were wondering what was going to get recycled next. Bags have been done to death, as have clothes. Now the trend is taking the form of a notebook. Made from waste-bin-rescued paper, the pad’s cover may not be quite as cheeky as the Anya Hindmark tote, but it still lets the world know you’re a tree hugger—and proudly so. And with that frisson of good feeling you get from doing the earth a solid, you can forget that you spent $14 on a notepad—the same amount you’d spend at Kate’s Paperie.
