On Tuesday, as you probably heard, the hypemasters at Apple introduced a new line of iMacs—including this baby, which can turn your old credit-card statements into confetti. Okay, kidding! The PX70MXW Cross-Cut Paper Shredder was actually created by venerable office-equipment company Royal, which obviously bit off Apple in designing its PX line (which also includes more expensive, heavier-duty, but equally elegant models). Hey, until Steve Jobs branches out, Royal’s pretty much your only option for bringing an identity-theft-preventing shredder into your home without making it look like the set of The Office.
