Toys in the Hood

Just in time for the suddenly cool-ish fall weather, a tech-minded clothing company called Scottevest (a.k.a. SeV) has introduced a gear-happy hoodie. SeV has been famous for years for its so-called Personal Area Network–equipped vests, which contain all sorts of secret compartments that let gadget-loving guys comfortably carry their stuff with them. The vest look has always been a little too dorky even for me, but SeV’s new black hoodie, made of cozy lightweight microfleece, is as stylish as anything you’d find at, say, Uniqlo or H&M. Only it has eleven exterior and interior pockets—nerd nirvana.
