As tax deadlines loom we all wonder what we could’ve done to owe less. How about donations to charity? Ok, how about shopping that benefits a charity, thereby being a partial or full write-off? (I thought so.) That’s exactly what’s happening this weekend with the shopping portion of Dining on Design, an annual benefit for the Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS. On Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., you can shop at an emporium filled with luxury fashion and home furnishings items all at wholesale. These vases by Rosanna, for example, retail for $80 but here are $40. The event takes place at The Waterfront, on 28th Street and Eleventh Avenue, and admission is just $10.
