Clock Out

Posted November 7, 2006
Fumbling with a shrill alarm clock is one of the most annoying parts of a morning routine. Sculptor Nina Tolstrup tries to mitigate the frustration with her latest invention, the Tip, a modern art piece that doubles as a mercifully simple timekeeper. The Lego-like shape lets you shut off the sound just by tilting the clock sideways, without the trouble of buttons or dials. The only drawback: This clock makes it even easier to ignore a weekday wake-up call.
