With warming weather comes an inevitable need to upgrade your tank-top drawer. And although you always say that you’re saving last summer’s not-so-white Hanes for the gym, before you know it they’ll be back on the street. So leave it to Marc Jacobs (again) to take a ratty old classic and give it serious upgrade. His version comes in supersoft cotton and is indeed ribbed but with raw -dged ruffles. It also has pretty feminine details like a grosgrain-ribbon tie that creates a tiny little keyhole on your back. Sure, you could buy a ten-pack of tanks at the dollar store for the same price and still have money left for fancy cocktails and the like. But what would you wear?
