Olympus may no longer be the title sponsor of Fashion Week, but it’s still one of the handful of tech companies (along with Apple and Samsung) with an enduring fashion sense. The Olympus Stylus 750, the latest in its fabulously successful Stylus line, is low-key sleek and color-coordinated—it comes in your choice of silver, black, green, or red—but it’s also just a darn good camera. It features a 7.1-megapixel sensor (which means even eight-by-ten prints are supersharp), a 5x optical zoom that telescopes rather dramatically out of its skinny little body, and a generous 2.5-inch LCD screen on the back. And it’s got the best image stabilization that I’ve seen for a high-res snapshot camera in its price range.
$300 from J&R, 15 Park Row, nr. Ann St.;212-238-9000.
