I love hats, I do. Cold or hot weather, good or bad hair days, chapeaus add an extra bounce in your step. Even spring’s runways were hat-heavy: Proenza showed tall, feathered ones; Marni went with bright cone shapes; and Dior updated the slouchy knit beret. So many choices but my favorite style is the wide-brimmed one: so polished and mysterious. Equally mysterious is how pricey most caps run nowadays.
