There are some things that are just not that fun to shop for: gym socks, a bridesmaid dress, a curtain rod, a toilet plunger, a bat mitzvah gift for your boss’s daughter. Table lamps fall into that category, too. It’s just not a particularly sexy object most people get excited to browse or spend a lot of money on. But the thing is, when you get a good table lamp … it can legit transform your living space. (We’re newly of the mind that you should pepper every room of your house with a zillion different table lamps at all different height levels to create a general vibe of warmth, coziness, and glamour. Oh, and get some pink light bulbs, too.) For those of you who don’t want to have to think for more than 15 seconds about what table lamp to get, might we recommend this little guy, which emits a soft, gentle glow, and looks like it was designed by a Danish person. (And a little bit like that orb Trump touched in Saudi Arabia — but in a chic way.) Most importantly, it’s on sale for 27 bucks. It takes a 40-watt bulb, if you want to throw that in, too.
