The most gratifying thing about working at the Strategist is when we actually serve you, our loyal readers. So it thrills us when you not only use the things we suggest but also let us know what you think — via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or even Amazon reviews. As much as we enjoy “liking” your reactions, we thought you’d be as tickled as we are to hear other Strategist readers’ opinions (and maybe learn about products that you might have missed in the first place). We want to hear from you, so if you’ve bought something we recommended, tell us your thoughts — even if it’s bad, we want to know.
“I love this toothpaste! I tried it a couple of years ago and wasn’t super keen, but a recommendation from NYMag’s Strategist column made me want to give it another try. I agree with other reviewers that at first the taste is strange compared to other toothpastes (I used to use Crest Glamour[ous] White), but now that I’ve used almost a whole tube I can say that I actually really prefer it! I went on a two-week trip and didn’t bring my toothpaste and using Crest again was terrible! I couldn’t even believe how sweet it tasted in comparison to opalescence!! I also do think it’s been helping with whiteness, but since I’m a coffee addict there’s really only so much it can do lol. Anyway, strongly recommend, and make sure you give it a few weeks before deciding you don’t like the taste!”
“My nails were dry and peeling after years of intensive nail polish use. No matter what I slathered them with — cocoa butter, shea butter, fancy-ass nail lotions followed by cotton gloves overnight — I’d wash the dishes, and it would be peel-town all over again. After two weeks of this, my nails are in significantly better shape. No more peeling! No more dryness! I can do the dishes! My nails feel solid again! Per the NYMag Strategist article where I learned about this, you need to slather it on at least once a day for a couple weeks. This stuff works miracles, but not overnight.”
“Absolutely the best! I found out about this product reading an article dated 06/22/16 on the website of New York Magazine entitled “I Found The Best Nail Clipper At The Airport In Japan.” When I ordered it, the product only shipped from Japan, and, although it took about 4-5 weeks to arrive, it was still well worth the wait. Now, it is available on Amazon within the USA and shipment qualifies for Amazon Prime. A great product.”
