In case you haven’t heard, the hottest toy of the holiday season — the one that’s sold out everywhere — is Nintendo’s Super NES Classic Edition, which comes preloaded with 21 games like Zelda, Super Mario Kart, and Donkey Kong Country. Nerds and nostalgists alike have been clamoring for it, and yesterday, Walmart fed the frenzy with a single tweet.
While Nintendo has been having trouble keeping it in stock, leaving resellers on Amazon to sell it for nearly double its $80 MSRP, from today until Friday (starting at 2 p.m. EST), Walmart will be selling the system online. You better act fast, though — if history is any indication, these won’t last three days.
