In the last several years, butterfly chairs, once relegated to college dorm rooms, have become acceptable modes of sitting in adult living rooms. In particular, leather butterfly chairs. (We think the Citizenry’s $675 version is somewhat responsible for the butterfly chair–issance.) This inky-blue-leather one is a nice twist on the classic brown-leather model, and is a relatively inexpensive way to make your apartment a little fancier-seeming. (And it’s a lot cheaper than a full-on leather armchair.) Right now, it’s on sale at Walmart — our recent go-to for expensive-looking accent chairs.
