A bunch of Bic pens are currently on sale — today only — at Amazon, including several that made it onto our sprawling (and somewhat controversial), obsessively compiled ranking of the 100 best pens. The standouts, below.
It was the Xtra Precision version of the classic Round Stic that landed at number 90 on our list, but these ones are great too — and supposedly last “90 percent longer” than your classic Round Stic. On sale, this box of 60 comes out to a mere 5 cents a pen. And it’s available and on sale in blue as well.
This came in at number 71: “This bad boy is not going to be winning any awards for design any time soon. But sometimes you need a workhorse, not a show pony.”
The Bic Atlantis Original is number 64 on our list, but the on-sale Atlantis Bold is also a very fine pen, even if it creates a more “vivid line.” It’s also available in black.
We were frankly surprised that the Bic 4-Color made it to number 16, but it got a lot of extra points for how delightful it looks.
